After much deliverance and debate, Emazing Gaming LLC is proud to present the new acquisition: Zero Five Zero. This new Counter-Strike:Source team has a plethora of individual experience both past and present. Not only that, but this squad boasts quite a stacked roster in terms of old vs. new talent. Featuring players such as Josh “haqshot^” Lanigan, and Chris “ShaD” Daniels from the “old-school,” prestigious Upper team, to the relatively “unknown,” or new talent of Cole “Scoob” McNeal. Finally, being rounded off with the likes of veterans Kyle “havoc-1” Kunkel, and Siavash “DrStrangelove” Etesham, (both former members of the Emazing Gaming brand) this squad shows great amounts of promise. Their recent success in leagues such as ESEA-IM (Even without haqshot due to roster lock.), where they are awaiting their lower bracket finals match coming up on July 11, 2010;this Sunday night! Coupled with their participation in the Lanchamp Baltimore qualifiers, where the team found mild success against the Dynamic powerhouse, as well as their current battle in the Newegg Wanfest Tournament, this team is not only active and alive, but continually performing well against stiff competition.
While this is a relatively new team, that's only been together mere months, this coalition of players has played with each other before in either past teams, or on LAN pugs which have had success. Besides participating in these online events, the team will be taking their game to the LAN scene at the end of this month in sunny Los Angeles, where the OG Source tournament is to take place. The air is filled with high hopes and excitement, as the team looks to finish out their ESEA-IM playoffs successfully, as well as making it to the final eight in Wanfest in order to properly prepare for the LAN. This team has demonstrated not only to our organization, their fervent passion for gaming, but their desire for the progression of E-sports towards a legitimate sport.
